The final BLAST Pro Series 2019 tournament will take place in Copenhagen from November 1-2, 2019.

BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen will feature six teams competing for a total prize pool of $250,000. This tournament also provides an opportunity for a few teams to qualify for the BLAST Global Finals later in the year.

The Favorites: Astralis and Team Liquid

Astralis and Team Liquid are the favorites to win BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen. The two teams have struggled for the top CS:GO spot. While Astralis was the best team for an elongated period in 2018, Team Liquid took the throne and secured the Intel Grand Slam Season 2 in record time.

Astralis and Team Liquid are the favorites to win this tournament; however, neither team is the best in the world. Evil geniuses who rose to the top position following their StarSeries & i-League Season 8 victory are not present at this tournament. It presents an opportunity for Astralis and Team Liquid to steal back the top rank in CS:GO.

Astralis’ dominance stems from their mental endurance and their ability to adapt to their surroundings. The team has an extensive map pool, and they can play opponents on their strongest maps. This flexibility allows Astralis to put up aggressive CT sides, often surprising the most comfortable CS:GO teams.

In a slump, Can Team Liquid make a comeback at BLAST Copenhagen?

Team Liquid won the Intel Grand Slam in record time; however, their decline started with the player break preceding the StarLadder Berlin major. The North American team’s performance has seen a rapid decline over the past few months, and they have lost to Astralis frequently. However, BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen has a unique format, and that gives Team Liquid a massive advantage in the upcoming days.

The Two Teams Who can play spoilsport at BLAST Copenhagen

While Team Liquid and Astralis are the favorites to win the tournament, others can play spoilsport easily at Copenhagen. Na’Vi and FaZe Clan have the potential to upset most of the teams at the tournament, and the Bo1 format lends to their chances.

Natus Vincere

The post-Berlin Major period saw Na’Vi’s roster emerge as one of the strongest teams in Counter-Strike. However, despite all the expectations of the CS:GO team, they did not live up to expectations. They placed last at StarSeries & i-League Season 8.

The team’s performance (or lack thereof) is mostly due to internal problems in their communication and team synergy. S1mple is responsible for the team’s discipline, and yet, according to the StarLadder referee, he is tilting and slightly toxic in their communications.

These are problems that Na’Vi can solve quickly, and we expect the CIS squad to put up a stronger front at BLAST Copenhagen.

FaZe Clan

Coldzera joined FaZe Clan for a reported price of $ 1million
FaZe Clan has had a disappointing start to their new roster.

FaZe Clan has always been a costly team, with disappointing results. According to sources, FaZe Clan bought Coldzera for a whopping $1 million. However, their performance post the Berlin Major is disappointing.

In terms of raw firepower, FaZe Clan’s peak performance can eclipse some of the best teams in the world. While Broky has been doing an excellent job of supporting the rest of the squad, the team is missing firepower, a surprising thing to say for a team of their caliber. The FaZe Clan roster will most likely not win the event, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see them upset a few established teams on their way.
