GG.Bet will partner with ICE London for London’s first CS:GO event in 2020 on such a large scale. The tournament will feature a total prize pool of $250,000 and feature some well-known teams in action.
The $250,000 tournament will take place at the ExCel convention center on February 4-6.
Unlike other esports events, this tournament finals will not take place in a stadium. Instead, the event finals will take place at the upcoming ICE London conference, an annual event focussed on betting and gaming networking and demonstrations.
GG.Bet and ICE London hosted the GG.Bet Ice Challenge 2019 with a prize pool of $50,000. North Gaming won the four-team event after a 2-0 victory over Natus Vincere.
The tournament will feature eight teams competing for the prize pool of $250,000. The organizers have already revealed the names of some teams and CS:GO fans can plan their schedules to meet their favorite players accordingly.
Natus Vincere, Heroic, and AVANGAR will attend the eight-team event. Virtus Pro recently signed the former AVANGAR roster, and it is unclear at the time of writing if Virtus Pro or AVANGAR will attend this tournament.
The organizers will announce more teams soon and CS:GO fans can expect teams like last year’s winners, North, to attend this tournament. ICE 2020 features the biggest prize pool for a CS:GO event in London at the time of writing.
