Just Error Disband After Just one Event

December 15, 2020 | 0 | 460| |

The Dota 2 superteam Just Error has disbanded after just one month together. The players will now look for new opportunities after their attempt to play together did not pan out.

Just Error played together in just one Dota 2 tournament and had a poor finish to the event. After failing to qualify for Division 1, Just Error ended in a 5-6th place finish in Division 2. The team has some of the biggest names in Dota 2 on its active roster, but its poor performance was the result of the language barrier, time zones, ping, lack of proper preparation according to RAMZES666.

“Initially, we did not plan to play Epic League, but in the end, we decided to play, and probably this can be called a wrong decision. The old patch, in which everyone can already play, the language barrier, time zones, ping, lack of normal training-all this played a role in our unsuccessful performance. My playing form now also leaves much to be desired.” – RAMZES666

The team was formed with the majority of the former Virtus.Pro Dota 2 roster. The players also added SumaiL, formerly of Evil Geniuses as they attempted to create a star-studded Dota 2 roster. But the team’s attempt at a Dota 2 team faltered as the players quickly realized the differences on the roster.

The team had been on the lookout for a large European organization to represent ahead of the road to the International 10. The stack had reportedly found an organization to represent, according to a report by VPesports.

“As I have said in many interviews, the first idea to play with Sumail appeared last year after International, but then I already agreed with EG, and we did not work out,” RAMZES said on VK.com. “A couple of months ago, after the Omega League, we decided to try again.”

The team had already accepted a direct invite to the OGA DotaPIT tournament. With the roster disbanding ahead of the event, its tournament spot remains in doubt.
