StingeR to take a break from competitive Dota 2

June 14, 2020 | 0 | 382| |

Seven “StingeR” Vargas is one of the most famous players in the South American Dota 2 scene. However, it seems like he played for a bit too long, which is why he decided to take a break.

In case you forgot, this player played a vital role in Team Anvorgesa. He was the MVP in most of their series, which allowed the team to secure a spot for one of the biggest tournaments in eSorts – The Internatinal 2019.

What happened there?

The South American squad went on head to head against some of the top teams in the world. However, thanks to StingeR’s incredible performance, they’ve managed to finish in top eight.

Sadly, the current situation that came to be thanks to Covid-19 didn’t have a positive effect on beastcoast.  Since all events are now online, the South Americans usually play with a lot of ping ,which has a negative effect on their performance.

As a result, StingeR decided that it’s not really worth for him to compete at this level right now. So, he will make a switch towards the coaching role, at least for now.

Beastcoast have made the annoucement on their Twitter just a few days before the beginning of the BTS Pro Series: Americas.
